Mission Studio project complete

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Mission Studio’s website has been designed, built and implemented. A custom design using the Drupal CMS, with custom modules – including the latest additions: XMLSitemap and Nodewords. This allows for custom tailoring of each page/node for search engine optimization – running the cron at set times refreshes the XML Sitemap, updating the latest pages and URLs created within Drupal. Templates for each ‘section’ were provided to the client. Should be smooth sailing from here.

Up Next: White Sage Publishing and Research Results.

Stay tuned.

Update: Mission Studio

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

After heavy customization utilizing CSS and XHTML, the final phase of the Mission Studio project has arrived. I installed custom modules for jQuery and jQuery UI, as well as Lightbox2.  Tiny MCE was chosen as the text editor. Lightbox2 is great. One can view videos, even Youtube linked videos inside a Lightbox pop-up.

A client training session will follow, and soon this project will be wrapped up.

Also, look into SEO for Drupal sites – there are a couple xml sitemap generators out there, but the module for Drupal can be run as a cron, I believe.

Starting a new project for Research Results, Inc. Will keep you posted on the progress.
